COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

**Due to the University of Connecticut and DOD's directives regarding COVID-19 and safety precautions t, ALL of our training classes and meetings scheduled BEFORE June 15th have been CANCELLED. We will be working to offer limited classes in summer 2020, starting on May 21st with online learning for National Stop the Bleed Day.  These plans are always subject to change in accordance with UConn directives.  Thank you for your understanding.

Welcome to UConn Rescue!

UConn Rescue is a student organization of students involved in or interested in emergency medical services at the University of Connecticut.  We are primarily based at the Storrs campus but we are currently expanding in order to better serve the several UConn regional campuses around the state.  

Organization objective: Allow students to utilize their skills to gain experience in the medical field by coordinating like-minded students in EMS training.

General Member Meetings, announced through email list & Facebook group.

  • An hour once a month on campus

  • Discuss training techniques and share experiences and stories

  • Practice with equipment to keep skills up to date

  • Encourage and help each other with practical skills
